Cancer and its treatments can, for many people, have a significant impact on physical and psychological well-being affecting quality of life.

There is a growing body of evidence supporting the role of physical activity following a cancer diagnosis. Keeping physically active and participating in regular exercise following your diagnosis, during and after your cancer treatment has been shown to reduce many treatment-related side effects as well as improving quality of life and cancer survival.

Exercise is not only safe, but recommended for people who live with a cancer diagnosis. It can play a role not only in rehabilitation (during and after treatment) but also for prehabilitation (getting ready for cancer treatment) to get fitter for your surgery and other cancer treatments.
